The military had started to convene additional reservists on Tuesday. Previously, the convening of 60,000 reservists to take the city of Gaza had already been announced.
According to Israeli media reports, a group of almost 400 reservists announced on Tuesday not to follow a possible convening. “We refuse to participate in (Benjamin) Netanyahus illegal war and see it as a patriotic duty to refuse this and to ask for our leaders,” said one of them. The planned line -up of the city of Gaza not only endangers the life of the soldiers, but also that of Israeli hostages in the violence of Islamist Hamas.
The Arabic -speaking military spokesman turned to the population of Gaza via a post on the platform X. The city’s evacuation is inevitable, it said. In the south of the Gaza Strip, tents and a water pipe would be prepared.
