The Space & Opening
Hewlett locals can expect a sophisticated dining destination when OPA opens in March. The restaurant will accommodate about 70 guests indoors, with a charming outdoor option for warm evenings. - Opa Chips—crispy zucchini and eggplant chips served with tzatziki
- Halloumi Cheese Tempura—halloumi cheese battered and fried, served with a tangy yuzu hollandaise
- Zucchini Fritters—kolokithokeftedes fried until crispy, served with lemon yogurt
- Salads & Cold Dishes:
- Mykonian Salad—a refreshing mix of tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, onions, olives, capers, carob rusk, and Mykonian feta
- Sea Bass Ceviche—a dish of sea bass marinated in citrus juice, mixed with avocado, kiwi, jalapeño, and crispy prawn
- Tuna Tartare—yellowfin tuna blended with avocado mousse and crispy potato
- Entrées:
- Cauliflower Steak—a vegetarian-friendly dish with sweet potato purée and paprika mayo
- Royal Dorade—a fish entrée presented with olive oil mashed potato and asparagus
- Creste de Gallo—pasta in a beet-infused Alfredo sauce, topped with gremolata and fried basil
- Fresh Fish “By the Pound”: Sourced daily from Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Florida, and New Zealand, and expertly charcoal-grilled and deboned. Flavors range from mild and flaky to sweet and aromatic, with varieties like Fagri, Lavraki (Loup de Mer), Tsipoura (Royal Dorado), Branzino, Black Sea Bass, and New Zealand Snapper.
