Ferrari today revived a sacred name for the history of this mark of Maranello: The new 849 testarossawhich will be the successor of the SF90 road. It is a hybrid sports and with V8 motor, which pays tribute to the classic Ferrari with red cylinder lid (“Red head”).
The new 849 Testarossa takes a name that was used by iconic models such as 250 TR (1957) y Testarossa (1984)but which was also used by sportsmen such as 500 TR, 330 TR and 512 TR, among others.
The most modern reinterpretation of the Testarossa has a V8 4.0 Bi-Turbonter engine of 830 horses, combined with three electric motors that add 220 hp more. This allows you to reach a total power of 1,050 horses and 842 nm.
Ferrari declares a maximum speed of “more than 330 km/h”, with an acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in “less than 2.3 seconds” and 6.35 seconds to reach 200 km/h. Being plug -in hybrid, the new 849 Testarossa has an electrical autonomy of up to 25 kilometers.
