Israel’s Minister of Defense guarantees the US to respect the fire if Iran also complies
The Israeli defense minister, Israel Katz, has transferred to the head of the Pentagon, Pete Hegseth, who will “respect the high fire” with Iran “as long as the other party also does it”, after the president of the United States, Donald Trump, publicly showed his discomfort by the attacks thrown over Iranian territory.
Katz explained on social networks that Trump’s “brave decision” to join Israel to counteract the “nuclear threat” Iranian, in reference to the bombings launched on Sunday on the facilities of Fordo, Isfahán and Natanz. Hegesh, meanwhile, has applauded the “historical achievements” achieved by the Israel Defense forces (FDI), according to Katz, who is confident that security cooperation with the United States can continue to deepen after the climbing of the tensions of these last days.
The Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has spoken with Trump to explain the attacks of the last hours and argue that they arrived in response to the three missile shot by Iran. The American president, meanwhile, has accused both sides of violating the ceasefire, but has been especially critical with Israel. “I am not happy with Israel. If I say they have twelve hours (from the announcement to the entry into force of Alto El Fuego), it is not for them to leave in the first hour to threw everything they have,” he reproached in statements to the media before traveling to the NATO summit in The Hague, Netherlands.
