The Nanbudo shin held its general assembly in a friendly atmosphere, marked by great dynamics and a handover of the presidency.
The Nanbudo shin of Bompas held its annual general meeting at the dojo, in the presence of members, parents and local elected officials who came to salute the dynamism of this emblematic sports association of the city. Laure Briaut, president, opened the session by presenting the moral report, highlighting the good progress of the club again this season, both in the quality of its training and in the richness of the activities offered in nanbudo and in the kidoho section. Then, Jean-Pierre François, treasurer, then presented a healthy and balanced financial report.
Jean-Luc Rubio, technical director, highlighted a booming sporting dynamic, marked by successful courses and notable participation in regional and national competitions, testifying to the vitality of the association. The technical supervision, provided by qualified and passionate teachers, was unanimously praised.
A new president and projects
The management team took the opportunity to announce the projects: development of the different sections, organization of courses in Bompas, and strengthening of links with other clubs, particularly internationally.
Laure Briaut announced that she was leaving the presidency, which will now be held by the current secretary general, Floréal Martinez, but that she would still be available to help if necessary. Laurine Rubio takes over the position of general secretary.
The votes ratified these changes and the new president closed the meeting in a friendly atmosphere, around the traditional glass of friendship, faithful to the values of respect, sharing and conviviality dear to the association.
