Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to intensify joint actions against telephone fraud, illegal online games, drug trafficking and illicit trade in bordering areas, considered shared national responsibilities.
Likewise, they agreed to accelerate the reopening of border crossings to normalize the flow of trade, in addition to coordinating efforts to restore peace and support the development of the multiparty electoral process in Myanmar.
The meeting was chaired by Myanmar State Peace and Security Commission Vice Chairman Senior Vice General Soe Win and Thai Ambassador Mongkol Visitstump.
Deputy Foreign Minister U Ko Ko Kyaw and Director General U Thet Win also participated, along with officials from the Thai embassy.
