MOSCOW – The chairman of NATO’s Military Committee, Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, said the alliance might consider launching a preemptive strike (preemptive strike) to Russia. This option emerged to deal with Russia’s alleged plans to attack the United States (US) led ally.

Admiral Dragone addressed the option in his interview with Financial Times published on Sunday. According to him, a preemptive attack can be considered a defensive action.

“[Namun]it is far from our normal way of thinking and behaving,” he said, adding that there were legal questions regarding such a potential move.
