Egypt’s Ministry of Transport Announces Monorail Job Openings

The Egyptian Company for the Management and Operation of the Tunnels,under the direction of the Ministry of Transport,has announced new job openings for the Monorail Train Project (East Nile),which will connect CAIRO to the new administrative capital. Advertisement (5) of 2025 details the available positions.
The project, owned by The Ministry of Transport / National Authority for Operation and Management, is a collaboration between the French Stoms and the Egyptian Company for Management and Operation of the Metro (O & M AT / ECM). The project seeks technicians with experience in mechanical, mobile units, electrical, signals, communications, or railway equipment maintenance and management.
Available Positions
The following technical positions are available on a contracting system for the Monorail Train Project:
- Cyber repair technician: electricity / mechanics
- Central control observer: electricity/ communications/ electronics
- Systems Technician: Electricity/Electronics/communications/Mechanics
- Annote Monkey Monets: Electricity / Mechanics

General Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Males only.
- Technical qualification above average / average qualification in electricity, communications, electronics, or mechanics from:
- Jalal Fahmy School
- Don Busco Institute
- Wardan Institute
- Technical Swedish
- Mubarak Cole School
- Age not exceeding (35) years at the time of application.
- Completed or served military service.
- No criminal record.
- Computer proficiency.
- Successful completion of personal, medical, and psychological tests.
- Acceptance of the work system.
- Ability to take responsibility, handle work pressure, self-discipline, and adhere to regulations and laws.
