The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) concluded trading today, Sunday, with its general index experiencing a slight decrease of 0.37 points, settling at 850.45 points, according to KUNA. A total of 400.7 million shares changed hands through 19,845 cash transactions, amounting to 84.9 million dinars (approximately 258.9 million dollars).

The main market index saw an increase of 34.85 points, or 0.45 percent,reaching 785.64 points. This was achieved through the trading of 190.2 million shares in 9,393 cash transactions, valued at 33.12 million dinars (about 101 million dollars).

Conversely, the first market index declined by 9.9 points, or 0.10 percent, to reach 9087.49 points. Trading volume in this sector amounted to 210.4 million shares across 10,452 transactions, with a total value of 51.8 million dinars (about 157.9 million dollars).

The index of the top 50 companies also saw a decrease, falling by 42.94 points, or 0.53 percent, to 8010.94 points. This involved the trading of 151.3 million shares through 6,024 cash transactions, valued at 26.9 million dinars (about 82 million dollars).

The companies with the highest gains were (Digz), (Aguilletti), (Kut), and (Al -Surah), while the companies experiencing the moast notable declines were (centers), (collections), (subscription), and (patriotism MB). (End) MKA / E H
