According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a report at 16:00, in the Yuzhno-Slobozhansky direction the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders seven times near the settlements of Staritsa, Prilipka and towards Grigorovka, Izbitsky. Two fights are ongoing.
In the Kupyansky direction, the defenders repulsed one Russian attack towards Malaya Shapkovka.

The American Institute for the Study of War came to this conclusion after on December 27, the Russian Ministry of Defense suddenly resumed publication of reports on the alleged control of Russian troops over Kupyansk, in particular its central and northeastern parts.
“The Russian Foreign Ministry, Kremlin officials, and Russian state media appear to be engaged in a national effort to cover up failures on the Kupyansk battlefield and address widespread criticism from war bloggers and ultranationalists of the Kremlin’s false reporting,” the Institute for the Study of War writes.
Analysts note that there is ample evidence that Ukrainian forces have liberated most of Kupyansk. Geolocation footage released on December 16, 20 and 26 indicates that the Defense Forces have recently advanced along the P-07 Kupyansk-Shevchenkovo highway and the P-79 Kupyansk-Chuguev highway in central Kupyansk.
ISW has analyzed numerous location-based videos released in recent weeks that show SLA advances near and within Kupyansk, consistent with Ukrainian officials’ claims of progress in the area.

According to the head of the KhOVA Oleg Sinegubov, the Russian military used:

During the night, the command of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported attacks on Odessa, Mirgorod, Pavlograd and the Donetsk region. Drones and guided bombs were flying there.
