Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that the German chancellor’s announcement reflects an “irresponsible attitude” from Berlin, according to Interfax.
“This is nothing but another war provocation, nothing but further attempts to force Ukrainians to continue fighting, and it is nothing but an effort to thwart the peace process,” Peskov said.
