Internet celebrity Khaby Lame has reportedly been apprehended by US immigration authorities, raising questions about his visa status and length of stay in the country.

The Italian TikTok star, known for his viral videos, was allegedly detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and asked to leave the United States, according to multiple US media outlets including “CTV News.” The arrest reportedly occurred in Nevada on Friday of last week. The reason cited was that Lame had allegedly overstayed his permitted time in the country.

According to the Italian newspaper “IL Messaggero,” ICE confirmed that Lame entered the US with a valid visa on April 30th. however, the authorities intervened because he remained in the United States beyond the visa’s authorized duration. he was then given, and instantly accepted, the option of voluntary departure.

Adding another layer to the situation, claims have surfaced on social media, alleging that Bo Loudon, a right-leaning influencer associated with Donald Trump’s son Barron, publicized Lame’s immigration status. Loudon allegedly posted a screenshot from the ICE website on X,purportedly showing proof of the arrest,and labeled Lame a “left -wing extremist tictoker”. The connection between Loudon’s post and the arrest remains unverified.

Khaby Lame is globally recognized as one of TikTok’s most popular figures, boasting over 162.2 million followers on the platform and more than 80 million subscribers on Instagram.

His signature videos feature minimalist, wordless comedy, where he humorously reacts to everyday situations.
