Martínez de la Torre, Ver.
On the morning of this Wednesday, March 18, a junk removal day was held in the La Esperanza and Diana Laura neighborhoods, with the aim of preventing the proliferation of mosquito breeding sites and protecting the health of the families of the municipality.
During this activity, personnel from different municipal areas carried out tours to collect disused objects that could accumulate water, thus contributing to reducing risk factors associated with vector-borne diseases.
The Health, Public Cleaning, as well as Ecology and Environment departments participated in these actions in a coordinated manner, joining efforts to strengthen preventive measures for the benefit of the population.
With these sessions, the municipal government headed by the Municipal President, Modesto Velázquez Toral, reaffirms its commitment to implement strategies that promote healthy environments and improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of Martínez de la Torre.
