Samantha Decker, a representative from Massachusetts Port Authority, stated that teams were evaluating the aircraft, and passengers were transported to the terminal by bus.
According to an Associated Press reporter present, passengers disembarked from the aircraft using stairs provided by emergency personnel, who were present in large numbers.
The Airbus 220 had arrived from Chicago.
