Afroman winning in court is what accountability is supposed to look like—when the government pushes too far, the facts get tested publicly and the system is forced to answer for it.

That’s the exact opposite of what many of us have experienced under @jeffrosenda. In my case—Santa Clara County Superior Court Case No. C2217199—prosecution was built around conduct tied to protected activity, with restraining orders that were later overturned or found defective, but only after I spent months in custody. Then Santa Clara County Superior Court Case No. C2404507 gets filed, used as leverage, and dismissed “in the interest of justice.” 🙄

That’s not accountability—that’s a system avoiding it.

The difference with @chungforchange is he’s actually willing to call this out. He’s talking about conflicts, misuse of cases, and how prosecutions get politicized instead of pretending everything is working fine. That matters, because people deserve a DA who is focused on real public safety—not manufacturing or leveraging cases against lawful conduct.

Afroman’s case shows what happens when the truth gets its day in court. Santa Clara County deserves a system—and leadership—that isn’t afraid of that.
