Gaza Government: Israeli Forces Control 77% of Territory
The Gaza Government Media Office accuses Israel of a “final solution” policy, while the Israeli military reports a commander injured in northern Gaza.
The Gaza Government Media Office has stated that the Israeli military now controls 77% of the Gaza Strip’s total geographical area. According to the office, this control has been achieved through direct land incursions and the deployment of forces in residential zones.
The statement,as reported by Al Jazeera, asserts that these actions involve “direct land attacks and the deployment of occupation forces in residential and civilian areas, through controlling massive shots that prevent Palestinians from accessing thier homes, regions, land and property,or through an unfair forced eviction policy.”
The Gaza Government Media Office has appealed to the United Nations and the international community to intervene and halt what they describe as Israel’s expansionist policies.
The statement further claims that “Genocides, ethnic cleaning, colonialism, aggression, and occupation that continue to most of the Gaza Strip reflect the political desire of Israel to impose a ‘final solution’ with violence, which openly opposes all international laws and norms.”
