Finnish MP’s Death in Parliament – Finland News

Finnish social deputy Eemeli Peltonen was found dead on his office of the Finnish parliament building. Peltonen had been low from parliamentary work since spring, when he announced on social networks that he suffered from a kidney disease and would take advantage of summer to recover.

“In May, I received excellent treatment from Helsinquia medical services due to kidney problems that suddenly appeared to me and were diagnosed as a disease of minimal injuries,” he wrote. Despite the expected recovery in a few weeks, Peltonen eventually contracted a bacterial infection during treatment.

“To combat the infection, I started intravenous treatment with antibiotics in the [Hospital] Meilahti, who will take some time. At the same time, the treatment of my kidney problems continues, ”explained the message.“ I already received hospital discharge, but due to the situation, I will be low in summer and I will focus entirely on the recovery of the disease. ”

Minimum injury disease is the most common cause of nephrotic syndrome in children over 1 year, but also occurs in adults (15% of adults with nephrotic syndrome). Despite its subtle manifestations, the disease can cause significant complications such as edema and hypoalbuminemia.
