When Felicia faces the press after the victory, she is emotional.

– It is such a personal revenge for me, so it feels absolutely incredible, she says and starts to cry.

– This means so much to me. I have come from the bottom and felt so bad. And to be able to do this, it feels fantastic, she says.

She says that it means a lot just that she made it further than she did when she competed as Miss Snusk and then didn’t make it to the finals.

– This feels fantastic. I love everyone who supports me and votes, it’s incredible, I just feel such love.

At the after-party, she states again that she is going to Vienna.

– I’m going to Vienna, it’s completely crazy. I hate flying, I hate speaking English, what the hell am I going to do there?, she says.

She has been the favorite from the start. At the beginning of the evening, there was a full 73 percent chance for Felicia to represent Sweden in Vienna in May, according to the site Eurovision world. She was also in first place after the jury groups had distributed their points in the final.

The final of the Eurovision song contest will take place on May 16. But first, Felicia has to advance from the semi-finals. Sweden competes in the first on May 12.

Is sick

This week she has been struggling with both a throat problem and a fever. During the general rep earlier in the day she said she felt worse than ever and during the final she took alvedone.

Right after her first performance of the evening, Felicia posted a clip on her Instagram event. In it she says:

“Thank you so incredibly much. I am so grateful, love you all, such a wonderful atmosphere and I am so satisfied and so happy”.

Came second: “Won against myself”

Kristoffer Greczula and his “Half of Me” came second.

– You should not compete against others, but against yourself. And I won against myself because last year I came third. I am very happy that I have received so many Swedish votes and I am very happy for Felicia’s sake, so big congratulations to Felicia, he says when Aftonbladet meets him immediately afterwards.

What did you feel during the number?

– I felt that I wanted to enjoy more and take in what I saw and felt, so I didn’t think too much about the details because now it’s there and I’m just going out and having fun.

How does it feel now that it’s over?

– It’s both nice and sad at the same time because it’s absolutely fantastic to be here and get to work with this. But it’s also kind of nice that it’s over and it will be nice to go home tomorrow.

Medina hit Smash on the beak

In previous years, the Medina duo has come both second and third. Although they were hoping for a first place, they are pleased to have landed in third.

They didn’t think they would get as many points from the international jury as they did, because their song “Viva L’amor” is in Swedish. After the jury’s score, they were in second place.

But the guys are happiest for beating Smash into pieces, which came fourth.

– We have an internal competition with Smash into pieces. We’ve been competing since 20 years ago when we competed against each other in Kungsträdgården and then we beat them to the punch, since last time we beat them to the punch, says Rekik.

– And now we beat them to the punch again, says the duo in chorus and laughs.

Came last – again this year

Saga Ludvigsson20, came in last place for the second year in a row with the song “Ain’t Today”.

– You know what? You have to be the best at something. And I’m the best at coming last. A win is a fucking win, she says.
