Fans of the Bayern amateurs set off pyrotechnics and thereby ensure a penalty against their club. A total of ten incidents are being negotiated by the association. However, there is the possibility that the penalty can be reduced.
Point deduction and fine for FC Bayern Munich II in the regional league: The sports court of the Bavarian Football Association (BFV) has sentenced the amateur team of the German soccer record champions to a fine of 26,000 euros and the deduction of one point because of pyrotechnic incidents surrounding the game at SV Wacker Burghausen.
The game took place on December 5th last year. According to BFV information, it was the Munich team’s repeated violation in the current season. According to the announcement, the judgment is legally binding and the table has been corrected accordingly.
According to the BFV, FC Bayern supporters repeatedly burned pyrotechnic objects in the catch-up match on the ninth matchday, thereby endangering players on the field. The game had to be interrupted twice by the referee. This is the tenth time this season of the Bavarian Regional League that the sports court, chaired by Heiko Loder, has punished a violation of field discipline by the FCB appendix.
Reduced penalty possible for FC Bayern
The Bavarian Sports Court expressly points out in its judgment that the fine imposed can be claimed back under civil law by the perpetrator in accordance with the decision of the Federal Court of Justice. In addition, the association’s legal and procedural regulations (RVO) stipulate that the punishment can be reduced upon request within one year if the perpetrator-oriented investigation is carried out. If the perpetrator is identified, more responsibility can be shifted from the club to this person.
