On 04.07.2025 at 11:10 p.m. there was a traffic accident with personal and property damage on the B199. The 40-year-old driver of a car VW drove from the direction of Breesen towards Anklam and, for the reason that has so far been unknown, came to the right at the junction Iven and crashed into a road tree. The driver was caught in his vehicle by the impact and still succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident. Occasional damage of approx. 20,000EUR occurred on the car. The federal road had to be completely closed for three hours. In addition to two patrol cars from the police captain Anklam, the fire brigades from Iven and Krien, a rescue helicopter, an ambulance and an emergency doctor were deployed.
