The bond with Fiorello
In Francesca Fialdini’s studio, Biggio remembers the day in which Fiorello’s phone call gave a turning point to his career: “I was ruined, it was 2022, I was in a terrible low, I was falling into oblivion a bit. The phone started not ringing anymore” he explains to Fialdini. “It was my birthday, I was at the seaside and I said to my wife: ‘I don’t want to think about it today, I’ll invent something in September’. The phone rings and I see ‘Rosario’, I said: how is this possible? We talked and he said to me: ‘What are you doing in September? You’re good and I would like to work with you again.’” Then he is moved to say: “He believed in me at a time when no one did.”
The relationship with his wife Valentina
Biggio also opens up about his private life, spending words for his wife: “My wife Valentina and I have been together for 26 years. We had a crisis in the middle, as is normal… it’s good, it’s useful because then you choose again and that is incredibly powerful. We are very happy, we are fine. We got married after 25 years, just two years ago”. To the presenter who observes how he is very reserved, even on social media, in his private sphere, the actor explains: “A bit to protect them too (his wife and children, ed.), there are many crazy people around”. And he reveals an episode in this regard: “There was a person who started writing to my wifeshe was in love with me and told her ‘leave him’. She was a stalker.”
