A 19-year-old on an e-scooter was checked by a police patrol in the Rohrlachstrasse area on Tuesday (October 14, 2025, 2:14 a.m.). During the check, officers noticed typical signs of drug use. A drug test that was then carried out reacted positively to THC (cannabis). A blood sample was then taken from the young man at a police station. The influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances is a main cause of accidents. Anyone who drives while intoxicated not only endangers themselves, but also others. Administrative offense proceedings were initiated against the driver of the vehicle, who was under the influence of drugs. The driving license office will also check the suitability of the driver.
Due to current events, we would like to point out that the limit for cannabis while driving has been raised to 3.5 ng THC per ml blood serum, but be careful: – if THC is detected in the blood, there is an absolute ban on driving under the influence of alcohol, – people under 21 or people on probation are not allowed to drive motor vehicles under the influence of alcohol or THC. “Zero tolerance” applies here – absolute ban, without limit!
