Dude Harlino and Alyssa Soebandono‘s family celebrated Eid al-Fitr together. Apart from the tradition of family gatherings, typical Eid dishes are also an inseparable part.

When asked about the home cooking menu, Dude said that the dishes served tend to be typical of the archipelago, especially Padang flavors.

“Usually from year to year there is ketupat, rendang, then vegetables or jackfruit gule or later there are crackers, then there is usually chili sauce. Because my mother is from West Sumatra, so usually Padang food is usually available,” said Dude Harlino to detikcom at the Trans TV Studio, Mampang, South Jakarta, yesterday.

Not only that, Dude mentioned several other menus that are always present during Eid. Like rendang to balado.

“There’s rendang, there’s chicken balado, that’s the usual. And that’s the standard food every Eid,” he continued.

Apart from food, Dude also shared the tradition of giving holiday allowances (THR). He said he always prepared a special budget for the people he worked with.

“There must be, if it’s workers who are with us, we really have to prepare them according to their respective portions, right? And it’s also their rights that we have to pay,” he explained.

So, how much budget does Dude Harlino specifically spend regarding THR for his workers?

“Yes, there must be a special budget for us to give to the people who work with us, that’s why we give them THR,” he concluded.
