Al-Marsad newspaper: Brigadier General Muhammad Bennouna narrated a funny situation he encountered while traveling through the airport, after he was carrying with him a strange antique, which was a “donkey head.”
Donkey head
Bennouna said that while he was boarding the plane, a security man stopped him and asked him what he was carrying, to which he jokingly replied: “This is a donkey’s head,” which was met with a smile and admiration from the security man, who in turn inquired why he was carrying it.
Hobby collecting antiques
He explained that he told the security man about his passion for collecting antiques, noting that he had bought a large number of pieces from Cairo, before he liked the donkey’s head in Sharm El-Sheikh because it was unique of its kind.
Security concerns and funny jokes
He added that the security man informed him that one of the ears on the head might be considered a sharp tool and could pose a danger, and it was not allowed to be brought onto the plane. However, he joked with him, saying: “This is news for the media… Shayeb Stiny hijacks a plane with the head of a donkey and 400 passengers on board,” which prompted the security man to laugh and allow him to pass.
The flight attendant laughed
He continued that when he boarded the plane, one of the security men asked him about the piece he was carrying, and he replied that it was “a donkey’s head.” The passenger laughed and entered the plane with him. He also told the flight attendant that the head was an expensive piece for him and asked her to put it in a place worthy of it, so she would burst out laughing at the funny situation. “The flight attendant died laughing,” he said.
