Disney & F1: Las Vegas Grand Prix Collaboration | Fuel the Magic

Disney and Formula 1 have officially launched the global collaboration “Fuel the Magic” at the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Throughout the weekend of the highly anticipated opening event, Formula 1 fans were treated to thrilling moments in the company of Disney characters, exciting performances and a collection of world-class merchandise.

Highlights of the evening

For the first time ever, master Mickey Mouse took to the stage in front of the Fountains of Bellagio with a special show by Disney Live Entertainment. The show thrilled fans with splendid music from the Disney film Fantasia and the Formula 1 anthem, accompanied by spectacular pyrotechnics and drone choreography.

Formula 1 drivers Frank Colapite and Pierress Gasly of the BWT Alpine Team, together with Ollie Bearman ed Esteban Ocon of Team MoneyGram Haas, met Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy and Pluto on the starting grid as super racing fans, and showed some items from the Disney x Formula 1 collection. Mickey Mouse and his friends posed together with Sam Worthingtonprotagonist of the film soon to be released in cinemas Avatar: Fire and Ash.

The iconic Sphere lit up the Las Vegas sky with Disney and Formula 1 “Fuel the Magic” images and graphics throughout the race weekend. To kick off the race day festivities – and celebrate 70 years of joy – the Disneyland Band brought their timeless magic to the gridiron with a special
performance of the American national anthem together with the musician and actor Adrian Lyle.

Bobby Kim, founder of The Hundreds and Vice President of Creative for the Americas at Disney Consumer Products, attended the race weekend, highlighting the exclusive Disney x Formula 1 collection on sale at DisneyStore and at the F1® Las Vegas Hub at the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas.

Fuel the magic

Fans with the “Fuel the Magic” ticket also joined Mickey and his friends on an exclusive walk around the pit lane, taking photos and seeing behind the scenes of the Formula 1 teams at work. Fans will be able to continue to experience the thrills of Formula 1 through the creativity, innovation and magic of Disney thanks to the “Fuel the Magic” collaboration, which will continue through the 2026 and 2027 seasons at selected races around the world.

Featuring exclusive behind-the-scenes content and original storytelling, this collaboration will deliver digital experiences designed to engage fans around the world with the excitement of race weekends.
