According to the National Meteorological Service (SMN), the decrease is due to the passage of Cold Front Number 7, which has covered a large part of the state since dawn.
During the day, a mostly sunny sky is expected, with a maximum temperature of 29 °C, as well as winds with gusts of up to 20 kilometers per hour, mainly towards the southeast.
Sunrise was recorded at 7:08 a.m., while sunset will occur at 6:30 p.m., marking shorter days and a cooler atmosphere, characteristic of the advance of autumn.
The SMN reported that the frontal system generates a mass of cold air that will continue moving towards the northeast of the country, maintaining cool to mild conditions in the morning and cold in the mountain area.
In municipalities such as Cuauhtémoc, Bocoyna, Creel and Guachochi, minimum temperatures between 3 and 6 degrees are expected, with the possibility of light frosts in the highest areas.
