Clifton Man Arrested: Alabama Child Sex Crimes

A Public Works operator for the City of Clifton, Tennessee was recently arrested in Madison County, Alabama on charges relating to child sex crimes.

According to court documents, 26-year-old Hunter Pevahouse of Clifton, Tennessee was arrested in Huntsville, Alabama on Saturday, October 4, 2025, on charges of traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act, second-degree rape, and second-degree sodomy. Pevahouse reportedly traveled from Clifton to Huntsville between the dates of September 9 and 13, 2025, to knowingly meet with a 13-year-old girl for sex.

A warrant for Pevahouse’s arrest was issued on October 4, and he was taken into custody the same day. Court records show that he was booked into the Madison County Jail, but has since bonded out.

The case remains under investigation.
