For a large program of energy efficiency, technological modernization and regulatory adjustment of the plants “, an agreement between CVA Smart Energy and the Casino de la Vallée spa was signed.

The 15 -year agreement provides for a total investment of over 6.3 million euros, entirely supported by CVA, and – as stated in a note – “is part of the project finance as an innovative tool for the sustainable management of public heritage”.

Among the expected interventions are indicated: the redevelopment of the refrigeration control unit, the installation of a CHP trigenination system, the construction of a photovoltaic system on the cover of the game house and the adoption of an advanced energy monitoring system. The project will guarantee a minimum reduction of 10% of primary energy consumption, equal to 3,065.8 MWH, contributing significantly to the regional environmental sustainability objectives. There is also the redevelopment of the Power Center and the supply of an electogenic emergency group with direct investments of Casino de la Vallée Spa for 2.2 million euros.

“This project represents a concrete example of how the collaboration between public bodies can generate value for the territory. The signed Energy Performance Performance is the result of a rigorous technical and administrative path, which allows us to make skills, technologies and investments available to accompany the game home towards more efficient and sustainable energy management. It is a replicable model” said Enrico De Girolamo, CEO of Cva Smart Energy. “It is an essential project for the production continuity of our society, considering the obsolescence of the current plants. We are also aware that the energy efficiency of the casino will offer benefits to the whole local community, both at an environmental and economic level” added Rodolfo Buat, the sole director of the Casino de la Vallée Spa.
