You don’t have to be a car expert to know that new cars lose their value immediately after leaving the dealership. For some models, the loss of value is calculated in the first year in units of percent, but for premium vehicles it can easily be several tens of percent compared to the original purchase price.
The strongest reason for the drop in value is the fact that a new vehicle cannot be considered “new” in the case of sale by driving and selling it to the owner, and with increasing mileage, its price gradually decreases even more. Paradoxically, today’s fast times and the rapid development of new technologies also have a share in the reduction of value.
