The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip rose to 70,942 martyrs and 171,195 injured.
Gaza, December 23 (QNA) – The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023, has risen to 70,942 martyrs and 171,195 injured.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported, in its daily statistical report, that 5 martyrs had arrived in Gaza hospitals during the past 24 hours, including one new martyr, 4 who were recovered from under the rubble, and 3 injuries.
She pointed out that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, where ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them until now.
She explained that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 last year reached 406 martyrs, and 1,118 injuries.
It indicated that it recorded the death of a citizen as a result of the collapse of a building, which brings the number of victims resulting from the collapse of buildings due to the depression to 16 cases.
The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli entity entered into force on October 10, following the withdrawal of the occupation army from sites and populated areas in the Gaza Strip, and the beginning of the return of the displaced to the northern Gaza Strip, as part of the first phase of US President Donald Trump’s initiative to end the war on Gaza.
