Classic design
The model is a tribute to both the company’s classic design and its modern technical ambitions.
The Premier B21 Chronograph Tourbillon 42 is based on the iconic Premier collection first introduced in the 1940s.
The collection is characterized by elegance, balance and has a sporty yet sophisticated aesthetic.
The model will only be available for purchase in Breitling‘s own stores in the US and Canada.
“Premier B21 Chronograph Tourbillon 42 is the ultimate expression of Breitling’s design expertise and technical mastery,” says Thierry PrissertCEO of Breitling USA.
Popular luxury watches – “collector’s dream”
Despite increased US customs duties on Swiss luxury watches, the segment is growing rapidly throughout North America, which is why Breitling is only releasing its new model there.
According to the CEO, the new watch is a collector’s dream Georges Kern which states that the model “combines the timeless elegance of the Premier collection with the technical brilliance represented by the tourbillon”.
The case measures 42 millimeters, a modern size and at the same time the historic Premier profile.
The choice of materials varies depending on the version – from rose gold to platinum – and each model is assembled by hand according to Swiss tradition.
The dial has a deep, elegant finish in colors such as dark emerald, blue or black, creating a sharp contrast to the tourbillon’s open construction.
Technically elegant
The tourbillon – a rotating cage that compensates for the influence of gravity on timekeeping – is located at 12 o’clock and gives the watch a technical heft usually found in much more expensive haute horlogerie models.

The deep blue dial is contrasted with beautiful gold Arabic numerals, and despite the seemingly intricate design, the new Breitling Premier B21 Chronograph Tourbillon 42 appears understatedly elegant.
Those who want to feel elegant have to shell out 75,000 dollars or roughly 700,000 kroner to wear the new model.
