Esther can’t stop thinking about her breast augmentation operation. This woman He underwent this aesthetic intervention with Dr. Davidthe plastic surgeon imprisoned after being arrested by the National Police, for perpetrating an alleged sexual assault on a patient while he was placing breast prostheses in a private hospital in Murcia.
“I feel bad because I will never know if he did something to me.. Given what I’ve seen, I don’t rule it out.” “I remember that my partner at that time, who was with me, told me that it had taken a long time for my operation,” as Esther relates in an interview with EL ESPAÑOL.
In fact, for that reason, Esther has decided to speak out publicly, “to help clarify if there are other women sexually assaulted” and “to encourage” other health professionals, anesthetists, surgeons or nurses who have seen “something strange in the operating room” in any of Dr. David’s cosmetic operations to appear before the National Police.
All this, in view of the fact that it is not ruled out that there are more patients affected because this doctor has 15 years of experience, working in the private healthcare sector in Madrid; Malaga or in the Valencian Community. Even in his Linkedin profile he states that he assumed positions of responsibility such as Head of the Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery Service at Quirónsalud in Torrevieja, Toledo or Murcia.
– How did you meet Dr. David?
– Esther: En an aesthetic clinic in Murcia. In the summer of 2019. I went to that clinic because a friend recommended it to me after having breast augmentation surgery. I was assigned to that surgeon, to David, and I was delighted with him for the treatment he had and for how professional he seemed.
This patient is not wrong with her statements because this newspaper has spoken with health professionals who have worked with this doctor, thirty-something, of Latin origin, degree in Medicine at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and they do not come out of their astonishment after learning of his imprisonment, for allegedly raping a patient in the operating room while she was anesthetized.
“We are amazed. He is a very methodical doctor, super educated, quiet, respectful, an elegant man. and that he conveyed that he was a good person,” according to these health professionals. “I had known this surgeon for many years: he always had excellent treatment and was very polite with us and with the patients themselves. “It just doesn’t fit in our heads.”

This optional had a good reputation “in cplastic surgery in general, but above all, breast augmentation“according to these health professionals who have shared the operating room with Dr. David. so that Esther paid 3,200 euros to the clinic with which Dr. David worked, in 2019, to have breast prostheses implanted.
“I think he explained to me that the intervention would take about 3 hours, I don’t remember it very well, but my partner told me that it was a long time.” A member of the Murcia Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, with extensive experience in breast prosthesis implants, maintains that “The average time for an implant does not exceed one hour“. For this reason, Esther claims to have doubts about what happened to her in the operating room and has already contacted a lawyer.
– Why are you suspicious of Dr. David’s behavior?
– Before the operation, I only went to one consultation, but after the operation I went to several check-ups until the last one the zipper on my bra got stuck and he told me that he was an expert at removing the bra, not putting it on: ‘I’m an expert at taking them off, not putting them on.’
-And how did you react?
– In the consultation he was very professional because there was always a nurse, except when he made that comment about the bra that he was alone with me. ANDor I didn’t answer him, I was shocked and not a word came out. I felt uncomfortable. Nor I went to more reviews because I didn’t like that comment at all.
Esther emphasizes that the result of her breast augmentation was outstanding: “AndI’m delighted. “He was very professional, I wanted more chest and he recommended less because of my height.”
But when it emerged this Saturday that Dr. David had been sent to prison for an alleged sexual assault on a patient, whom he was undergoing a breast augmentation in a private hospital, this woman claims that she began to review everything she experienced with the doctor who is under suspicion: “I stood frozen, shaking with fear. “I didn’t expect it, but when I analyzed what he did with me, everything fits together.”
– What do you mean?
– After the breast augmentation operation, he sent me reactions to my Instagram stories. The account with which he followed me on Instagram was his personal one. He reacted to all the photos I uploaded. He sent me hearts and for me it was a strange thing because a professional doesn’t do those things. A surgeon who doesn’t know me at all, it seems strange to me that he has that type of reaction. lI started to wonder what that man was looking for.

There was also another striking situation that didn’t enter Esther’s head: “He told me that with any problem I had with my chest, I should talk to him on Facebook“. It does not seem very logical for a doctor to urge his patient to contact him via Messenger, instead of urging her to request a consultation from the clinic where she contracted the aesthetic operation, so that they can assign her a consultation, if any incident arises in her post-operative period or with her breast implants.

– Esther: YOr I recommended the same clinic to another friend and she had surgery with David. to that friend also followed her on Instagram and reacted to her stories. My friend thought I wanted something with her.
Social networks have been abuzz since this doctor deleted his profile on Instagram, with thousands of followers, to offer his cosmetic surgery services from his clinics in Alicante and Madrid, as an “independent professional”, backed by the “maximum comfort” of his interventions, for having “vocation as a source of energy” and offer “details in the operating room that make a difference.”
It all ended on Thursday, December 4when the IMED Hospitales Group went to the National Police to report what happened in the operating room that Dr. David had rented at the IMED Virgen de la Fuensanta Hospital. There, this doctor had performed a breast augmentation on a neighbor from Molina de Segura who was a patient at one of his clinics, and for this he had the assistance of an anesthetist, a nurse and a nursing assistant.
“During the intervention, two nurses at the center detected abnormal behavior from the doctor, They recorded it with their mobile phone and they immediately reported the facts to the hospital management, which brought them to the attention of the Police,” as the famous IMED Hospitals Group has reported with total transparency. “This is a plastic surgeon with his own clinic and professional activity in different centers in Spain.”

Until now, the death of Sara Gómez had occurred, at the hands of Dr. Javier M., for not having the five years of specialization to perform liposculptures, or some patients had ended up in the ICU, as happened to Yngrid with Dr. Kebeya, known as ‘The Queen of Surgery’ on social networks and who lacked an approved title to operate in Spain. “We make ourselves available to the victim sexually assaulted by this doctor or any other victim, to help her with everything, to investigate her case or to advise her on a legal level,” Rubén emphasizes. The health workers who have worked with Dr. David or who know his career insist that they cannot conceive what happened due to the volume of work he carried out.
