ARBOLÉ have been puppeteers since 1979, those of the wagon and the road, those who have a special interest in childhood and education, those who consider culture as a service to the citizen, those who believe in their job, those who believe that the world can be changed, those who try. After traveling many paths, they arrived in 2008 at their current headquarters in the Luis Buñuel Water Park, a place of local and national reference. From their headquarters they go wherever they are required to tell stories with puppets, like the one they bring to Ejea on this occasion: “LA GOTA AVENTURERA”.
“The adventurous drop” It is a poetic and fun journey in which the public – children and families alike – will accompany a drop of water through the rain, rivers, seas and, of course, the clouds and the sky. A beautiful visual proposal with which to discover through emotion, puppets and poetry, the importance of water in our lives.
Our adventurous drop is not one trip, it is two.
On the one hand, the physical journey and natural of the water cycle itself, its various states, its usefulness, its necessity, its path, its existence as vapor in the clouds, its fall in the form of rain, its passage through rivers and its arrival at the sea. In short, all those natural processes that surround the endless journey of a droplet of water.
On the other hand, it is also a poetic journey because ours is not just any drop, it is a tear, therefore, a droplet that arises from emotion, that comes directly from the heart. Such a special droplet does not conform and revolutionizes all the characters it encounters.
Driven by the children themselves, it is lost in the air, until it is found by its father in the wind that weaves it to form a cloud. It travels through the air, along with other clouds and it rains, and wets fields and deserts, until it reaches the river… and then the sea? No, our drop, followed by the others, refuses to reach the sea. The Turtle, the Whale and the Crab don’t know what is happening. However, finally, our drop and the other adventurers flow to the sea, and from there it returns to the eye of the puppeteer from which it came, but, once again driven by the children, it begins its journey again in an endless cycle.

IN-PERSON SALE: At the Civic Center, on THURSDAYS and FRIDAYS of the week of the show. In the mornings (11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.) and in the afternoons (5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.) and at the Theater box office, on the day of the performance, from 1 hour before the performance and as long as there are tickets available.
