Al-Marsad newspaper: The United Nations World Population Prospects report revealed a list of the Arab countries with the highest number of births in 2025.
According to the United Nations World Population Prospects data, Egypt topped the list in the Arab world with 2.45 million births, followed by Yemen in second place with 1.40 million births, Iraq came in third place with 1.18 million births, then Algeria 855 thousand, Morocco 619 thousand, Syria 601 thousand, and Saudi Arabia 564 thousand.
The rest of the Arab countries had lower numbers of births during the year 2025, as Jordan recorded about 232 thousand births, Tunisia about 160 thousand, Palestine about 144 thousand, Libya about 120 thousand, the Emirates about 114 thousand, Lebanon 92 thousand, and Oman 90 thousand, while Kuwait reached 48 thousand births, Qatar 29 thousand, and Bahrain nearly 10 thousand births.
