Parents Tell About Alvaro’s Disappearance

As previously reported, Arumi, Alvaro’s mother, explained that her son had been missing since March 6 2025, precisely before sunset. He said his son regularly went to the mosque near his house to perform evening prayers during Ramadan.

However, on that day, Alvaro, who had been out of the house since the afternoon, did not return home until late at night. Arumi, when she realized that her child had not come home, then tried to look for him, including checking all the CCTVs in her home area.

“From the end of sunset he didn’t go home. From the end of sunset he didn’t come home, at 7, 8 o’clock he didn’t look for him. Until 10 o’clock, he wasn’t there. We asked his friends at the mosque, who usually pray together, they said he hasn’t been with Alvaro since afternoon. This means there’s a big possibility that he was kidnapped before evening prayers,” said Arumi when contacted. detikcomThursday (17/4).

He said that that same night, after his search was fruitless, he wanted to report it to the police. Finally, his party reported it to the police who then followed up with a search process.

“Yesterday we also received a call from Polda Metro Jaya, we are helping to find the word,” explained Arumi.

He said, apart from reporting to the police, his party continued to carry out searches and circled the entire Jakarta area by distributing posters on the streets to people. However, he still couldn’t find his son’s whereabouts.

His efforts are also carried out through social media. The hope is that information about the missing child can be spread widely, thereby opening up the opportunity for the child to be found more quickly.

Arumi admitted that no one called her like a kidnapper asking for ransom from the victim’s family. In fact, he said, many parties tried to deceive them by saying they knew Alvaro’s whereabouts through social media.

“There are no kidnappers who ask for money properly, it’s like the process of kidnapping like that, it doesn’t exist. In fact, there are many who cheat, saying that my child is here, here, that’s it, that’s it, whatever it’s called, up to Bekasi, where it is, where it’s going, we come, there’s nothing. I’m afraid it’s actually a scam, yes, it’s at night, you know. But it’s called a child, right? We’ll take it to Bekasi at 1 p.m.,” he said.

He also said that the police had also searched all family members, including Alvaro’s father’s family, who were no longer together. Alvaro’s father and his family also looked for the child’s whereabouts.

“The police are also investigating every family, the closest family, coincidentally they have separated from their father, so the first thing must be their family. They have and they are not with them, it has been confirmed, they have been in BAP all day with the police, they have been taken home too, they are not with them and they are also looking for them,” said Arumi.

He also admitted that his family had had good relations with their neighbors. He explained that currently his party is just resigned to the hope that his son can return home quickly.

“Many people ask questions like that. Actually, it doesn’t exist, just live straight, I’m a father, I’m also an RT there, I’m fine, I’ve never had any problems. Now I’m at the point of giving up, I don’t know what to do anymore,” he concluded.
