11.9.2025 – On Tuesday, September 23, the Fichtellab in the Outlet Center Selb invites you to a free workshop under the title “Artificial Intelligence – Chatbots, Linguistic & Multimodal AI”. He is organized together by the Hof University of Applied Sciences and the Fichtellab. The start is at 4:00 p.m., end at 5:30 p.m. Registration is required.
Content and target group
In the workshop, Prof. Dr. René Peinl, head of the institute at the Institute for Information Systems (IISYS) and head of the research group for multimodal artificial intelligence, practical insights into current developments around AI. Topics are:
Possibilities and challenges of chatbots
Function and benefits of voice assistants
Potential of multimodal AI that combines different data forms (e.g. image, text, sound)
In addition, Prof. Dr. Florian Adamsky on October 17th a session for information and cyber security- as an important addition, since innovation and data security are increasingly working together.
The workshop is aimed at everyone who is interested in digital future topics – from students to employees of smaller companies to technology -loving citizens. Previous knowledge is not absolutely necessary, but helpful.
