In an unusual turn of events, a wallet lost in 1974 has been returned to its owner, Tom Schopf, after 51 years. The wallet was discovered at the school he attended decades ago.
The wallet contained a variety of items offering a glimpse into Schopf’s life as a student. These included a student ID card, driver’s license, social security card, family and friend photos, a Eurail transit card, a price list from a distillation house, and even a 35-cents hockey ticket.
Janitor’s Discovery Leads to Reunion
Lorna McQueen, the janitor of the school, announced that the items they found surprise them and decided to reach the owner.
