The main cause of these increases throughout Europe is attributable to the significant increase in costs for interventions paid by insurance following road accidents. In fact, in the last four years, spare parts prices have increased on average by 48%. On the Italian front, three provinces exceeded the threshold in January 2024 500 euro per policy. This is the case of Napoliwhere car insurance costs on average 560 euro, Prato (553 euro) e Caserta (500 euro). In Tuscany six cities were included in the top ten of the cost of insurance, while Anna was found to be the most convenient province, with an annual rate of 287 euro.
