Zelensky: Russia Bankruptcy & Ukraine Energy Attacks

by Archynetys Economy Desk

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, claims that Russia is carrying out a terrorist campaign against the Ukrainian energy system and has called on its partners to support Ukraine with additional air defense systems.

Zelensky made these statements at a joint press conference with the leaders of the Volunteer Coalition and the Secretary General of NATO, in London. The press conference was broadcast by the Office of the President.

“The Russians are carrying out a terrorist campaign against our energy system. “They want to use the cold of winter as an instrument of intimidation and pressure on Ukraine, our people and our defense,” Zelensky declared.

The Ukrainian leader also numbered the necessary measures to prevent such plans of the enemy come true, according to Ukrinform.

“First: air defense. Today we talked in detail with our partners about additional systems. It is important that our partners focus on what is most practical and effective”declared the head of state.

“The second is to satisfy the needs of the front, and the third, we are promoting a more substantive diplomatic approach. Diplomacy only matters when it can lead to real solutions,” concluded Volodymyr Zelensky.

The Ukrainian president has asked its partners to pressure Russia with sanctions, politically, to ensure that Russia takes responsibility for war crimes, give Ukraine long-range weapons and access to frozen Russian assets.

“The more losses Putin suffers on his own territory, the fewer attacks he will be able to carry out on the front and first he will accept substantial diplomacy,” concluded the Ukrainian head of state.

As Ukrinform also reported, in a conversation with journalists, Zelensky believes that Ukraine and the United States are preparing a contract for the supply of 25 Patriot systems. Of course, Donald Trump has gone from showing his support for the shipment to being suspicious of it, especially after speaking with Vladimir Putin.

Russian “bankruptcy”

Regarding Russia, Volodimir Zelensky has assured in his X account that the country is increasingly weakened and you can already see it in the streets:

“Russia can prove to the world all it wants that the sanctions supposedly do not affect its economy, but everyone can see the truth: queues at gas stations inside Russia, bankrupt regions, federal budget deficit. “Sanctions remain one of the most painful blows for Putin.”
