KOMPAS.com – Xiaomi officially launched its latest flagship tablet, Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra, which comes with a 14 -inch OLED screen on Thursday (5/22/2025).
Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra became the first tablet device powered by the Xring O1 chipset, an Xiaomi -made processor itself.
Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra is a 14 -inch tablet equipped with 3K high resolution, making it the largest tablet available on the market today.
However, the one who stole the most attention was the presence of Xring O1, the first chipset made by Xiaomi which was developed independently.
This chipset was built with a second generation 3nm fabrication process and used a 10-core CPU configuration and the Immortalis-G925 16-core GPU.
Xiaomi claimed that the Xring O1 scored more than 3 million points on the Antutu benchmark, making it one of the fastest processors in the market.
This chipset is designed to rival Snapdragon 8 Elite, Dimensity 9400, and even Apple A1, as well as showing the seriousness of Xiaomi in innovating in the semiconductor sector.
Besides Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra, Xring O1 is also embedded in Xiaomi 15s Pro, smartphone flagship The latest company launched together.

Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun, said that the company had poured an investment of 1.9 billion dollars (around Rp. 30 trillion) to develop Xring O1.
“This is an important moment in the history of Xiaomi. We not only design products, but also create core technology that will strengthen our ecosystem,” Lei Jun said, as reported by Reuters.
Specifications Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra
Xiaomi PAD 7 Ultra is equipped with 14 -inch OLED panels with a resolution of 3,200 x 2,136 pixels (3K), a maximum brightness of 1,600 Nits, and DC + PWM support. This panel also supports 12-bit colors, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision.
The screen is coated with Gorilla Glass 5 and has a nano-texture (soft light) option that can reduce the reflection of light.
A notch embedded at the top of the screen, a place for a 32 MP front camera with a 1/3.6 -inch sensor (OV32D). On the back, there is a 50 MP main camera with a 1/2.76 -inch sensor.
This tablet is powered by Xring O1 which was built on the second generation 3 NM fabrication process. The CPU has 10 cores of up to 3.7 GHz.

This chip is also equipped with GPU 16-Core Arm Immortalis-G925, and 6-core NPU that is able to provide AI performance up to 44 tops (Tera Operations per Second).
