The Xiaomi 15T Pro has just taken its first steps in the real world thanks to a tiktok video published this August 24, 2025. For the first time, we can discover its physical appearance and some of its functionalities. This leak is ahead of an official announcement which should take place in September.
These first tangible images arrive after several months of speculation and leaks concerning the technical characteristics of the device. This new model would be continuing the T series while providing substantial improvements to its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14T Pro.
A familiar but refined design
The examination of the disclosed images reveals that Xiaomi seems to have kept the general aesthetics of its predecessor while making significant modifications to it. The Xiaomi 15T Pro has sharper and more angular edges than the previous model, giving the whole a more modern and premium appearance. The partnership with Leica still seems to be topical for the photographic part, as confirmed by visible markings on the camera module.
The smartphone would have a very large screen with most likely an Amoled slab.
High level performance with Mediatek
According to previous leaks, the Technical Heart of the Xiaomi 15T Pro would rest on the Mediatek Dimensity 9400+ processor, an octa-core chip engraved in 4 nanometers. This solution includes four high performance cores clocked at 2.85 GHz and four energy efficiency cores operating at 2.00 GHz. This hybrid architecture optimizes both raw performance and energy management.
The Mali-G610 MC6 GPU supports this processor to process demanding graphics tasks. This configuration places the Xiaomi 15T Pro in direct competition with smartphones equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, notably those of Samsung and other premium brands. The first benchmarks available via geekbench confirm promising performance.
Photography: the alliance with Leica continues
The Xiaomi 15T Pro photographic system would bet on a triple sensor configuration controlled by a main module of 50 megapixels using the OVX9100 omnivision sensor. It would be accompanied by an ultra-angle of 13 megapixels and a 50 megapixel telephoto lens equipped with a Samsung JN5 sensor. For self -portraits, a Samsung S5KKDS front sensor would complete the whole.
Finally, side autonomy, Xiaomi would offer a 5,500 mAh battery here, an increase of 10% compared to the Xiaomi 14T Pro. The load will be maximum 90W.
We are waiting for an official speech from Xiaomi for this mobile which could intervene by the end of September. She will tell us if these rumors concerning the technical sheet of the device are confirmed or not.
