WARSAW, Poland – The global spotlight shines on the dwindling number of Holocaust survivors as they gather at Auschwitz for commemorations marking 80 years since the camp’s liberation. The memorial site in southern Poland, where over a million people died, has become a solemn tribute to those lost during World War II.

Leaders and dignitaries from across the globe will join the observances, symbolizing relentless efforts to preserve the memory of the victims and grievances of the survivors.
