by Archynetys World Desk

The new restrictive measures taken by Donald Trump, President of the United States, regarding the entry of citizens from other countries into the United States has increased the number of World Cup games that can have fans on only one side.

To Trump’s list

People arriving from Senegal and Ivory Coast have been placed on the partial restrictions list over the past few days. This means that the United States government has further tightened the entry of travelers from these countries, but has not banned it completely.

The two African teams will play two games each within the United States during the group stage. The Senegalese will face Norway and France, while the Ivorians will face Ecuador and Curaçao.
