A CD Projekt Red shared new updates on its development pipeline as part of its latest financial report, revealing that the studio is not only deeply involved in the production of its biggest projects, but is also preparing to release an as-yet-unannounced title in the near future.
According to the report, 2026 has been a year focused on intensifying the development of several ongoing projects. This includes continuing work on The Witcher 4the first chapter of a new trilogy set in the franchise’s universe.
Another important pillar is the Project Hadara new intellectual property developed internally. The studio highlighted that Hadar represents its long-term strategy of creating original franchises alongside its already established hits.
Looking ahead to the next few quarters, CD Projekt Red stated that its priorities will be:

Although no details have been revealed about this mysterious project, its mention suggests that the company may be closer to a new launch than previously thought.
Rumors point to possible DLC for The Witcher 3
Although the company has not confirmed the identity of the unannounced project, previous rumors may offer some clues.
Industry analysts have already speculated that CD Projekt Red could release a new expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Reports indicate that the DLC could arrive later this year, possibly targeting a release window in the third quarter — around September — to avoid direct competition with GTA VI.
According to rumors, the expansion should serve as a narrative bridge between The Witcher 3 e The Witcher 4. If confirmed, this would be the game’s third major additional content, after Hearts of Stone e Blood and Wineboth widely acclaimed by critics.
