CD Projekt has announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has sold over 60 million copies worldwide as of May 28, 2025. This figure encompasses both the standard game and the Game of the Year edition.

This is an exceptional result, demonstrating the game’s sustained sales performance, bolstered by discounts and special promotions. The Witcher 3: Wild hunt previously surpassed 50 million units sold in May 2023 and 40 million in April 2022. The game initially launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in May 2015, followed by a Nintendo Switch release in October 2019, and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions in December 2022.

Impressive Sales Figures

The company also revealed that Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty,the expansion to Cyberpunk 2077,has sold more than 10 million copies globally,also as of May 28,2025. This number includes both standalone expansion sales and those bundled within the Ultimate Edition.

As previously reported, CD Projekt is currently in pre-production for the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, known under the code name Project Orion.

The original Cyberpunk 2077 debuted in December 2020 for PlayStation 4,Xbox One,and PC,with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions arriving in february 2022. The cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is scheduled to launch on June 5 alongside the Nintendo Switch 2. Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty was released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in September 2023 and will also be available on the Nintendo Switch 2.
