Not everyone handles winter well. There are those who enjoy the freshness on their faces and the ritual of putting on layers before leaving the house, but there are also those who start looking for flights as soon as the temperatures drop. For the latter, there is always an alternative plan: look for a place where the climate is a little milder and where a coat is not so essential.
The good thing is that you don’t have to get too complicated. The Caribbean is very good, yes, but it is far away. Just a few hours away there are destinations where the sun seems to be heating up more strongly, the terraces are still working and the walks are more pleasant than in much of the peninsula. They don’t promise heat, far from it, but they do promise that feeling of rest that comes with warmer weather if the weather is good.
