In 1965/66 the Deutschlandsender in East Berlin broadcast a 16-part radio series on the history of electronic music. The twelfth program is about electronic sound production in the USSR. This episode is completed with an excerpt from a series that Karlheinz Stockhausen realized for WDR in 1963: “Do you know music that you can only hear over the loudspeaker?”
