The official spokesman for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense stated on the “X” platform that this morning a number of American warplanes crashed, confirming that all of their crews survived.
He explained that the competent authorities began search and rescue procedures immediately after the accident occurred, as the crews were evacuated and taken to the hospital to check on their health condition and provide the necessary medical care, indicating that their condition is stable.

One of the clips shows the plane falling at a relatively low speed while the back of it catches fire, before two paratroopers are seen in the sky, indicating that the pilots were able to jump in time.

Other scenes showed one of them landing on the ground and surviving, without his health condition officially becoming clear.

The Kuwaiti official authorities have not yet issued a statement clarifying the circumstances of the accident or the nature of the mission that the plane was carrying out, nor has its type been officially confirmed.

Activists circulated speculation that the plane was an F-15 or F/A-18, but the clips circulating did not provide conclusive confirmation of its identity.

The circulation of these scenes comes in light of a charged regional atmosphere, which has led users to link the incident to broader military contexts, without the issuance of official information supporting these accounts.
