The United States will not send “high-level representatives” to the COP30 climate conference. The White House has announced this. There is less interest than last year for the preceding Leaders Summit, next Thursday and Friday. Fewer than 60 heads of state and government are said to have pledged. There will be no speech from the Belgian side.
