COLOGNE – In a celebration of mixology, the “Made in GSA Competition” has awarded its top honor to “Unruh,” a cocktail crafted by Zurich-based barmann Wladimir Reichert from “Studio” bar. The winning concoction features a harmonious blend of whiskey, wormwood, Maraschino liqueur, and a distinctive non-alcoholic distillate derived from smoked juniper and various conifers.
The competition,held in Cologne,also recognized Marcus Dreßler from Hamburg’s “Rabbithole” bar,who secured second place. Bianca Steinbusch from the Bamberg “Black Schaf” earned third place, according to organizers.
Adding to the accolades for “The Black Schaf,” Lea Folger, Steinbusch’s colleague, won in the alcohol-free special category.
